Summary: Pioneer of Narrative Figuration
Across a chronological display of close to 150 works of art (sculptures, installations, large scale pictorial works), including an installation specially created for Lille's Tri Postal, the exhibition immerses the visitor in Klasen's unique world, captivated by the recent changes in our society.
On the occasion of this retrospective, contemporary artists from Metropolitan Lille will propose a free reinterpretation of the work of Peter Klasen.
Pioneer of the Narrative Figuration movement, the visual artist Peter Klasen places contemporary society and its images at the heart of his works of art.
He draws inspiration from cinema, the urban and social environment, and industry.
