Summary: Blunt is back! Thanks to a chance meeting in 2003, the destiny of James Blunt changed forever, guaranteeing him a place in the international pop scene. At the musical event, South by Southwest in Texas, producer Linda Perry presented James to producer Tom Rothrock who is known for successes Beck, Elliott Smith and the Foo Fighters. It was the start of a beautiful friendship between the two, in particular for the young artist. Having studied the piano in his youth and after picking up the guitar at 14, Blunt finds inspiration everywhere : musical infuences such as Nirvana, his romances and heartbreaks, even his 4 years of experience in the British army. In 2005, he released his first album, Back to Bedlam which included the hit single You're Beautiful. Blunt remains one of the only British artists to climb to the top of the US charts in less than a year! He's back on stage for another tour, promoting his new album, All the lost souls. |
