Summary: Electrifying good fun. Of all of the young British rock groups currently making a name for themselves, The Subways look like they are going to go a long way. Singer/guitarist Billy Lunn leads the group and composes their tracks, accompanied by brother Josh Morgan (drums) and Charlotte Cooper (bass and vocals), a childhood friend and now his fiancee. The group were inspired by Oasis' Supersonic and at the beginning, their repertoire was almost exclusively made up of Nirvana tracks. So it is no surprise to find that they have developed a perfect punk-pop blend to complement a precocious songwriting talent.The Subways present their latest tracks from recent album Young for Eternity. |
