Summary: Slam dunk! He made slam an art in and of itself and life a nest of emotions to share a capella. Surrounded by John Pucc' Chocolate and the 129 H collective, Fabien became Grand Corps Malade in undergroud bars throughout Paris, open mic nights, and slam tournaments as he searched for an audience that would appreciate his own particular style. After having served as opening act for several artists (Elie Semoun, Mouss et Hakim, Cheb Mami) and performing at numerous festivals (Francophonies en Limousin, Festival d'Aurillac, Festival hip-hop de Saint-Denis), Grand Corps Malade slated time in the studio, putting music to his texts, and released Midi 20, produced and composed by S Petit Nico. The success of his poetic album, gave him the right to a concert at la Cigale and a tour throughout France with a stop at the Zénith in Paris in 2007. |
