This artist has won international acclaim, linked to the photos he took in Paris in the 1930s, but his other skills are less well known. They were appreciated by his peers, who worked on several projects with him; this was the case, notably, with Picasso and André Breton, with regard to the 'Minotaure' review. This exhibition in the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Nantes is designed to show this artist's real talent for capturing the beauty in the simplest things, from his 'Drop of dew on a nasturtium flower' to his 'Leather for cobblers' soles' ...
