Summary: Dinosaurs and sticky paper. Pierre Cadenat (1902 - 1998) had two passions in life: Prehistory, and collecting stamps. This one-of-a-kind philatelist cultivated his passion almost every day of his life, gathering an impressive collection of stamps which he classified thematically. This process was as much aesthetic as it was pedagogic, his classification was an achievement in itself. His collection features over a thousand items, until now never seen by the public eye, along with thematically-related pieces. |
