Summary: The Palais de Tokyo: home to contemporary creation.
Conceived as a source for promoting new contemporary artists and movements, the Palais de Tokyo is open to the many diverse forms of contemporary creation. These different forms are often unexpected, but they find an original way of approaching problematical issues and current ideas.
Now, modern art has found a way to make itself seen and heard at the Palais de Tokyo.
Now the modern voice will be able to express itself for longer, changing pitch and rhythm as old ideas fall into the background and new vision comes into the foreground.
The Palais de Tokyo is about more than a style or a movement. It seeks to engage with artists in the way it stages exhibitions and the way it thinks about art.
Reactive, dynamic, at once international and local, intercultural, convivial, engaged with the creative process and able to offer concrete answers, the Palais de Tokyo is a unique place which breathes life into new creation, is constantly on the look-out for new artists and provides resources for the promotion of art and artists. |
