Since it has opened in August 1992, the fame of the Grand Hôtel Du Tonneau D'Or has remained untarnished. It features 52 rooms. 5 of which, on the 3rd floor, have air-conditioning. They are all equipped with satellite TV (TPS) and WiFi access.

Upon entering the neo-classical lobby, you will discover a monumental staircase lined with stained-glass windows. Those are the work of Jacques Gruber from the École de Nancy.

In addition to the facilities already listed, the hotel features 5 conference rooms on the 3rd floor and a business centre. The conference rooms are accessible by lift.

Surrounding Area

At the foot of the castle, the Lion of Belfort, in pink granite from the Vosges Mountains, dominates the town. Go to visit the stronghold, designed by Vauban at the request of Louis XIV, is lit up at night for both visitors and local residents to see.

Transport

By car:
From the motorway A36,take the exit Belfort "centre ville", then follow the direction "vieille-ville". Turn right at the "place Corbis" and go straight upon the bridge. The hotel is at 100 meters on your left.

By train:
Rail station at 10 minutes
Airport of Bâle-Mulhouse: 45 minutes (by the motorway)

Restaurants

The restaurant Le Tonneau d'Or is open from 12:00 to 14:00 and 19:00 to 22:30 Monday to Friday. It is closed at Saturdays and Sundays, except for lunch on the first Sunday of the month.
It will also be closed in August.

The restaurant can cater for business meals.

If you wish to organise a family reunion, the restaurant can cater for up to 120 people and a dance floor can be set up.

Important

The ?Grand Hotel du Tonneau d'Or? also offers conference rooms for your business meetings. Three conference rooms are available with size starting at 40 to 80 m², welcoming 20 to 80 people.

Our conference rooms are equipped with all the necessities to help your day go as planned: over head projector, screen, paper board, telephone, etc' Upon your request we will assist you in the placement of certain equipement.

We invite you to break during your day and lunch at our restaurant with the menu of your choice.

Cancellation Terms

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 14.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
