Within the Charente département, our hotel is located in Saintes which is more than two thousand years old and a centre for culture and tourism.

The town boasts a historic heritage and an incomparable Mediterranean atmosphere, though Saintes lies almost on the Atlantic's shores. The sights include an amphitheatre, thermal baths, aqueduct and Roman abbeys, as well as the Charente River which crosses the town offering many kinds of water activities. The coloured markets bring the town to life every day. In July, the town is devoted to music with the Musical Academies and the events in the streets.

By Car:
From Rochefort via the N137, Bordeaux via the RN, Cognac/Angoulême or the A10 Bordeaux/Poitiers motorway:
- Exit at number 35 or towards Saintes-Centre.
- On the 2nd roundabout, take the first road on the right.

The railway to Saintes is 3 km away and the nearest airport is 110 km away.

Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 09:00 during the week and from 07:00 to 10:00 at weekends.
