A Secret Garden
A Prestigious setting full of history Seven hectares of wooded parkland, orchards, calm and authenticity, and the art of living. The stronghold of Puits belonged, at the end of the twelfth century to Guillaume de Puits. To the West is the Green Tower which served as a semaphore for sending signals between the Montmayeur Towers as far as Piedmont; to the North, the stables and barns of the farm and old stronghouse, remarkable for its ogival (pointed, arched) fifteenth century windows and doors; at the centre, the Château, re-built in the eighteenth century, next to the more ancient Tower de Lépigny, by the Baron of Alexandria of Oriengiani; to the South the out-buildings; to the East the barn, presently renamed the Sarto, the park and the main entrance.
