The Hôtel Granvelle is an elegant stone building situated in the loop of the river Doubs; in the Old Town at the foot of Vauban's Citadelle. The hotel provides quiet, comfort and the chance to enjoy all the attractions of Besançon, a town of artistic interest with many priceless art collections. The rooms open onto a handsome cobblestone inner courtyard. Solar cells (20 sq. m) being a welcome ray of sunshine to your bathroom.

The hôtel will host you 24h a day in a warm and friendly atmosphere quietness and comfort with a paying/car park at your disposal.

The hôtel has 30 rooms available with bathroom, private toilets and solar heated water. Most rooms overlook the inner paved yard with a car park. All rooms are equipped with colour television and canal+ satellite, direct dial phone and plugs for computers. Room for the handicapped. Ten rooms are air condtioned.

A generous breakfast is served either in your room, or as a buffet in our dining room. Room service is available at any time.

Exit from Aéroport de Dijon-Bourgogne, take the Rue Jules Guesde, carry on the D122a, turn left on the D905, carry on the Avenue du Mont-Blanc. Take the A39 while following the sign Dijon, passing near Dijon, rejoin the Voie Georges Pompidou while following the sign Lyon/Beaune/Chalon-sur-Saône/Dijon-sud/Chenôve, carry on while following the sign Genève/Dole/Besançon/Genlis/Auxonne. Carry on the A39 in the direction of Crimolois/Nancy/Troyes/Dole/Besançon/Mulhouse/Genève. Rejoin the A36 while following the sign, passing near Dole. Exit at the junction n°4 Besançon Saint-Claude and carry on. Go through a place, go through the N57 and turn right on the N57, carry on the Rue de Vesoul, enter into Besançon. Go through the N57 and turn left on the N57, carry on the Rue des Glacis, turn left on the Avenue Edgar Faure, carry on the Avenue du Maréchal Foch, turn right on the Pont Denfert-Rochereau, turn left on the Avenue Elisée Cusenier, carry on the Avenue Arthur Gaulard. Go through the N57 and turn right on, go through the N83 and turn right on the Rue Charles Nodier. Enter into Besançon, carry on the Rue Charles Nodier, turn right on the Rue du Général Lecourbe
