The Blanchet family has discovered in Duras a 19th century convent which they felt was the ideal place for them to show off the passion which the region inspires in them. Jean-François Blanchet is such a master at blending subtle flavours, that if the Dukes of Duras were to return, they would certainly book the best table in the restaurant. They would also marvel at the welcoming, calm bedrooms, the magificent floral garden and the cool swimming pool, before coming inside for a game of billiards
