The Maldagora estate is located in a quiet and leafy setting, overlooking the Nivelle golf course and St-Jean-de-Luz bay. The Maldagora Villa, which was built in the 1930s, harmoniously combines the neo-Basque style and 1930s architecture. Embellished by a patio surrounded by archways and carved, painted columns, it sets the tone for the 7 two- and three-storey buildings which make up the complex, with their half timbering and colourful wood decoration (in Basque red and pine green), gently sloping roofs and terracotta tiles.
