Description
A massive farming event!
If you can't come to the countryside, then the countryside will come to you... This could be the official slogan to accompany this particular show, one of the biggest events of the year in France. Every year, the agriculture show gives over 600 000 city-dwellers the chance to discover the countryside in the heart of Paris. For this year's edition, a range of agricultural practises will be showcased: market gardening, animal rearing, hunting and fishing, traditional farming and organic agriculture.
Visitors will be able to admire fine farm animal specimens, all of which hand-picked and fattened-up specially for the show.
This year a total of 1270 exhibitors will be attending! Added to that, expect to see over 1300 of 73 different species of animals taking part in various competitions. There will also be a medal for the best farm produce.
