Bâti en 1860, cet hôtel 4****, situé au 24 rue Saint-François de Paule, a été l’un des premiers hôtels conçus en bord de mer de la Promenade des Anglais. Les grands artistes de l’époque comme Matisse, Fitzgerald, Nietzsche et Theckhov ont toujours apprécié cet établissement typiquement niçois ; ils le considéraient en fait comme un « lieu de prédilection ». En effet, c’est le fameux architecte parisien Jean-Michel Wilmotte qui s’est chargé de la rénovation de l’hôtel en 2004. L’établissement séduit de plus en plus la clientèle par sa façade style XIXe siècle, son architecture raffinée et moderne, le design contemporain et la décoration distinguée qui met en exergue la beauté de la mer entourant l’hôtel, ce qui fait régner une ambiance gaie et relaxante. La clientèle a toujours apprécié le style du Beau Rivage ; les galets en sont le symbole et se font sentir dans tous les coins de l’hôtel, à savoir dans les salles de bain avec le sol incrusté de galets, dans les fauteuils avec la collection coussins galets, dans la lumière avec les lampes en forme de galets signées Céline Wright et aussi dans le hall avec les tables, spécialement conçues par l’artiste Bernard Reyboz pour cet hôtel.
