Camping International plays host to nature lovers, those with a love for wide open spaces, families, or those who simply miss the sun and need to revitalise and just hang out under the beautiful Haute Provence skies.

From the camping grounds, you will be able to enjoy our spectacular and hypnotic view of the Mont Destourbes (1542m) right over the way from the swimming pool, as well as the panoramic view of the mountain surroundings, all while being right near Castellane, a charming Provençal medieval village, with all its boutiques.

Once having settled in at Camping International you will be able to enjoy the autonomy available in a majestic setting.

Our customers choose our region for its beauty and the diversity of its landscape, for the Verdon gorges and the different water sports available, the lakes and relaxed bathing areas, the hikes and the panoramic views.

Our camping grounds are located halfway between the Mediterranean sea and the mountain peaks. Mont Pelat, located at 3051m in the Mercantour regional reserve, is accessible from our camping site via a 1h30 hiking trail. Our region thus has the privilege of being able to offer something for everyone. We have a family-based clientele : parents with children or teenagers. This is what determines the organisation of our entertainment programmes for July and August

For children aged 3-6 years, we have a flexible programme according to age and desire. This is organised by an entertainment officer whose main concern is to please our little loved ones. For teenagers and adults who like to play games, we organise ping-pong, football, waterpolo, pétanque tournaments. There is also a games room available.

The whole family is invited to register for our two weekly summer hikes consisting of 9-10 km walks nearby, reaching to the Roc on top of Castellane, the Lake of Castillon and the Verdon bank by the village. Visits always include an activity-leader. They require no vehicle as they leave and return from the campsite and last around three hours. All participants shall have a normal physical condition, wearing a hat for sun and carrying some water with them.

Out on the terrace, overlooking the swimming pool you will be able to taste our regional dishes, a pizza made for you by our talented chef, or you can quench your thirst with a glass of Rosé de Provence*. Breakfast may also be taken out here, and it is also the place where our weekly entertainment occurs(dance parties and karaoke).

The grocery shop is open from April 15th to September 15th and will provide you with whatever you might need including fresh bread and croissants in the morning.
But also the regional press, sports, national and European excluding the various departments at competitive prices filled with frozen, canned, fresh food, drinks and camping paraphernalia.
