Reims grand hotel des templiers : Reims Hotel

Situated in a quiet residential area just a 15-minute walk to the city centre of Reims, Grand Hôtel Des Templiers is a restored 19th-century Neo-Gothic house.

Guests of the hotel are 10 minutes from the famous cathedral, 5 minutes from Mumm Champagne House and close to others such as Pommery, Veuve Cliquot and Taittinger. Tours can be booked at the hotel.

This 4-star residence exhibits taste and sensitivity with its antiques, ornate ceilings and hand carved woodwork. Guestrooms are calm and quiet offering comfortable accommodation. Each room is well appointed and finely decorated.

For relaxation, the hotel features an indoor swimming pool, hamman and sauna. The hotel also provides free Wi-Fi internet access.

The Grand Hôtel Des Templiers does not have an on-site restaurant, but nearby is a highly-recommended 1-star Michelin restaurant that serves delicious 4-course menus at unbelievably low prices.

You will be greeted by the woman of the house and presented with a fruit and pastry tray for a nice start to an enjoyable stay.

Extra beds are only available for children under the age of 12. Extra beds are not available for adults.

Our hotel is only 10 minutes' walk to the cathedral and museum. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the pedestrian area which is the heart of the city with all the restaurants, bars and the shopping centre.

Mumm Champagne House is a 10 minute walk from the hotel, and the others are a 10 minute drive (Pommery, Veuve Clicquot, Taittinger). We can make appointments for you.

You can visit the vineyards and small villages on the Route Touristique du Champagne between Reims and Epernay by car.

By Car (from Paris - Strasbourg - Metz - Dijon - Allemagne): - From the A4 take the exit for Reims Centre. You will arrive on Boulevard Général Leclerc.
- Head straight on to Place de la République, towards Charleville on your right.
- In Boulevard Lundy, the hotel is on the fourth street on your left.

By Car (from the A26):
- Take exit 15 for Reims-Neuvilette and you will arrive on Avenue de Laon.
- Head straight on to Place de la République towards Charleville.
- Follow above directions.
- There is a free private car park in the private yard.

By Train:
When arriving by train you can find taxis in front of the train station. It is approximately a 10 minute drive to the hotel. From June 2007 there will be a TGV station.

By Plane:
There are 2 airports: Aérogare Reims Champagne and Aérodrome Reims Prunay.

Breakfast is available in the hotel from 07:00 to 11:00
