The Comfort Hotel Istres is located in the heart of the Provence region, less than an hour from Marseille and the Calanques. A calanque is a geologic formation in the form of a deep valley with steep sides, typically of limestone, and in part submerged by the sea.

Arles and the Camargue are also less than an-hour drive from the hotel. Officially established as a regional park and nature reserve in 1970, the Parc Régional de Camargue covers 820 km² that are some of the wildest and most protected in all of Europe.

Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, the Baux de Provence and Alpilles, all displaying some of the loveliest features of southern France, are also less than an hour away.

The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Monday to Thursday. It is open for lunch only at Fridays.
It is closed on weekends and public holidays.

It will also be closed from 8 August to 1 September 2008.

Breakfast is served from 07:00 to 09:00 Monday to Friday, and from 08:00 to 10:00 on weekends and public holidays.
