Rodez is also an ideal base from which to start numerous excursions: the Aveyron or Tarn Gorges, Conques, Decazeville and its mining sites, the medieval villages and their typical local houses (bastides), the Aubrac area and the Viaduct of Millau.
Transport
By Car (from the north):
- Take the A75 motorway.
- Take the exit signposted Severac le Château.
From the south:
- Take the exit signposted Pont de Salars.
- Then follow the road signs towards Rodez Centre-Ville (city center).
- At the Cathedral, turn right.
- Carry on Boulevard Gally for 50 metres.
- The hotel is on the left hand side next to the Foch car park.
