Known throughout the world, the reputation of the Promenade of the English is well established. It is a must on the Cote d'Azur. This avenue runs along the edge of the Mediterranean and marries the Bay of Angels.

It was not always as it is today. In the early nineteenth, it was an earth and gravel path. Its name is due to the large influx of customers after the English middle class from the winter on the French Riviera in the nineteenth century.
