Tignes ski resort, located in the Tarentaise, is nestled 2100 meters high, at the foot of La Grande Motte. With its neighbour Val d'Isère, it forms the interconnection to the Espace Killy ski area known as the " most beautiful ski area in the world300 km of slopes.

Internationally renowned ski resort Tignes has snow during the four seasons of the year. The altitude and the eternal snows of the Grande Motte glacier guarantee high quality snow. Imagine the slopes, blue, red or black, in the summer from June to August... You dreamed it, Tignes did it! In summer, skiers enjoy ski on the outstanding field of the Grande Motte glacier (between 3000 and 3450 meters high), reached by a funicular. The snowpark is also installed on the heights to make the pleasure of freestyle fans last.

Slopes, numerous and varied, with a majority of blue and red, are all accessible on skis. You can ski on the Espace Killy throughout the week without ever use a slope twice. The modern lifts enable to avoid waiting. In addition to this ski area, Tignes offers snowparks and a gliss'park.

Off the slopes, Tignes offers a variety of activities : ice diving, snowmobiling, ice driving and karting, skiing joëring, dog sleds, winter mountaineering or restaurants, brasseries, bars and nightclubs.

Despite these strengths, the station is not as charming as traditional villages : it has a cold architecture. For wood and stone fans, let yourself be tempted by Tignes les Brévières, located 1500 meters high, which is also connected to the Espace Killy.
