Corsica

The island of Corsica is surrounded by 1 047 kilometres of coastline. Its diverse landscape, rich history and warm climate make it a very inviting place to visit. Sandy beaches with clear blue-green water stretch all along the coastline. It is easy to see how Corsica was given the title of "île de Beauté" or Island of Beauty. The most beautiful beaches are mainly concentrated in the South-East part of the island, between Bonifacio and Porto-Vecchio. Corsican gastronomy has made its name through the legendary cheese, the Brocciu. It is also famous for its cured meats such as Coppa, Lonzu or Figatellu sausages.
