The Château Razay was built at the end of the 15th century and lies in 35 hectares of grounds. It is located in the heart of the world-famous Loire Valley region.

Originally, the Chateau Razay belonged to an Italian aristocrat who moved to Touraine in 1572, and who was granted his citizenship by Charles IX.

The Château Razay is a perfectly enchanting way to experience chateau life. Its main building has 21 rooms equipped with canopy beds and ensuite bathrooms. You may also opt to stay in one of the other 8 rooms on the site, which are also fully-equipped to offer you maximum comfort.

A gentle stroll will let you appreciate the grounds' rich variety of woodland trees.

In order to meet demand for accommodation that's 'closer to nature', a project was drawn up proposing the building of 5 chalets in small clearings and 5 wood 'tree houses' constructed within the tree canopy of a small copse.
