La Maison de Marcel was recently renovated and is built against a slope. You take a stairway from the ground floor front door to the living area. On the back side you step directly from the living room into the garden.

In the living room and bedroom on the ground floor, all of the furniture is made of solid cherry wood.

In the village of Bort-les-Orgues there are all types of shops within walking distance. In addition, there are various golf courses, tennis courts, stables and a heated open air swimming pool in the area. The quiet environment is ideal for walking and cycling. The reservoir is only 5 km away from the gite. In the surroundings The Château de Val is certainly worth a visit.
