In the center of town, 900 feet from The Royal Castle and of Leonardo Da Vinci's house, Le Blason welcomes you in a fine XVth and XVIIth house.

It was built around 1490 when the marshes on which Amboise is built were dried out.
It was initially a young girl's boarding school then a laundry. It was then the home of the black smith until the end of the second world war. Deserted for forty years it was restaured from 1990 to become a hotel.
Le Blason has a covered car park, closed at night and we are happy to offer a free internet access in the lobby.

Your hosts, Agnès and Thomas, the hotel owners, will do their best to look after you during your stay. Whether tourist or businessman, whether they stay one night or a week, whether half-board or not, each of our guests is unique.

The town of Amboise and its surroundings offer many attractions to the visitors, for one day, one weekend or a week. You will find here ideas for visits to monuments, attractions and events not to be missed. This choice is personal. We have tested them and especially loved them. Keep in mind that since 4 generations of the Yung family is related to Amboise and its area and that we will be happy to help you to plan your stay (you will find at the front desk a hundreds of leaflets about local attractions, charts, plans, guides...)

Breakfast is an important moment for us and for you as it starts the day and it will also be your last souvenir of our hotel. We offer continental breakfast in your bedroom or in our dinning-room:

- a choice of tea, coffe, hot chocolate
For your confort and to have the best quality, bread and pastries are baked by ourselves every morning. Breakfast is served from 8 to 10 o'clock and can be taken in you room at no extra charge.

Le Blason is located in the Amboise city center, 4 minutes walk from the Royal Castle.

• From Motorway A10 (Paris-Bordeaux), take exit N°18 Amboise/Château-Renault, then follow D31 toward Amboise (17Km). Once in the center, take left toward Montrichard, the hotel is 300 meters away, on Richelieu square, on your left.
• If you come from Tours by RN152, turn right at the second traffic lights (when in front of the post office), then first left in “rue Rabelais”. The hotel is 300 meters away, on Richelieu square, on your left.
• If you come from Blois by RN152, drive past the Castle, turn left just after the Tourist Office building (stand alone building on your right), you are now in rue Voltaire. The hotel is 300 meters away, on Richelieu square, on your left.
• If you come from Bléré by D31, take left at Chanteloup Pagoda and drive “Avenue E. Gounin.” Once on Saint-Denis square, take right in “rue Rabelais”. The hotel is 300 meters away, on Richelieu square, on your left.
• If you come from Chenonceau by D81, once at the Mini-Castles Park, turn left in “bd Saint-Denis” then the first right in “route de Chenonceau”. You will arrive directly on Richelieu square.
• If you come from Montrichard by D61, drive straight on at the roundabout, leaving McDonalds on your right. Your are now in “Avenue Leonard De Vinci”. You will arrive directly on Richelieu square, the hotel is on the opposite side.

Le Blason is also 15-20 minutes walking from Amboise train station and about 30-40 minutes driving from Saint-Pierre-des-Coprs (Tours) TGV train station
