Les Balcons Du Soleil sits in the Pyrenées, in the heart of the Font-Romeu mountain resort. Its apartments have a kitchen, furnished balcony, TV and a tea/coffee maker.

Ideally situated between the Mediterranean, Spain and Andorra, you can take advantage of the magnificent view of the Pyrénées mountain range and the Odeillo solar furnace. All the shops are 100 metres away and the cable car is 300 m from this residence.

For minimum stays of 2 to 6 nights check-in is possible from 11:00 and check-out service until 18:00. Flat-screen TV, made beds upon arrival, bathroom linen and an end-of-stay cleaning service are included in these short stay rates.

Guests can also choose the Baby Kit that must be purchased online before arrival. It will provide the apartment with a folding baby cot with 1 sheet and a highchair.

The solar furnace in Odeillo, opened in 1970,is the largest one in the world. It employs an array of plane mirrors to gather the rays of light from the sun and reflects them on to a larger curved mirror. The rays are focused on to an area the size of a cooking pot and can reach up to 3,000 degrees Celsius.

Andorra (45km), officially The Principality of Andorra is a small landlocked country in western Europe, located in the eastern Pyrénées mountains and bordered by Spain and France.

The Yellow train line (Train Jaune is a railway which runs from Villefranche-de-Conflent to Mont-Louis in France through Font-Romeu. There are open and closed cars. The open cars are a favourite with tourists and dramatic views are possible as the train climbs along the twisting track. The maximum speed of the train is 55 kilometres per hour.It is named after its colours, yellow and red, that come from the Catalan flag.

A guarantee deposit of EUR 200 per apartment will be charged on the day of arrival and should be paid by cheque or credit card.
