Sillans-la-Cascade : Sillans-la-Cascade Tourism

L'église de Sillans était à la base, une chapelle dédiée à St Laurent qui appartenait à la collégiale de Barjols. Une relique de St Etienne fut apportée au village par un membre de la famille De Pontévés qui revenait de croisade. Cette relique fut gardée dans la chapelle St Laurent. Au XIXe siècle, cette dernière est agrandie de deux autres chapelles latérales et du clocher. La chapelle devint alors l’église de la paroisse de St Laurent. On y trouve un tableau représentant le martyre de St Étienne ainsi qu'une série de tableaux représentant le Chemin de Croix. L’église fut complètement restaurée en 2009.
