Located in the heart of Vienne, near Poitiers, Futuroscope is a large amusement park with the theme of innovation, through multimedia, cinematographic techniques, audiovisual and robotics.

Founded in 1987, Futuroscope had at that time the following motto : keep your eyes open and you will get plenty of thrills. In the first year of operation, the park was successful. More than 255,000 visitors flocked to it to discover the attractions . The park has welcomed a total of 40 million visitors since its opening in 1987.

The amusement park is divided into four categories:

• The thrill rides : « Dance with the robots » and « Arthur 4D Adventure » are the most popular.
