Les objets personnels et ouvrages évoquent dans deux salons l'écrivain Schiller, les séjours en France de l'écrivain Goethe, l'écrivain Chamisso né au château de Boncourt (Haute-Marne) devenu écrivain de langue allemande tout en conservant sa nationalité française.
