Cherbourg : Cherbourg Tourism

De 1867 à 1870, l'astronome Emanuel Liais organise sa maison pour en faire un musée, qu'il lègue à la commune en 1900. Le muséum est à l'image des cabinets de curiosités du XVIIIe siècle, avec des spécimens de faune et de flore, et des objets archéologiques et ethnologiques rapportés à la suite de ses voyages sur les cinq continents et notamment en Océanie.
