This Alpine setting, made up of beautiful forests and plateaus, interspersed with passes and valleys carved by rivers, is home to four ski resorts which have preserved their personalities and their differences: La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod and St. Jean de Sixt. These beautiful mountain villages made of wooden chalets have retained their traditional architecture and a harmonious balance between tourism and agriculture. They welcome you in all seasons to offer you the perfect vacation.

In winter, thanks to a highly efficient artificial snow network, skiing is guaranteed. Extensive ski area, with four ski resorts, meet the expectations of a beginner or an experienced skier : 222 km of slopes, 105 easy, 79 medium and 38 difficult ones. 88 ski lifts make the connection between 1100 and 2600 meters.

In summer, all the mountain sports can be done : walking, mountain biking, paragliding ... Cyclists meanwhile, will appreciate the Col de la Colombiere, one of the famous passes of the Tour de France. The Aravis are close to Lake Annecy, an ideal stopover after a long day of walking in the mountains.




For the gourmet, local specialties can be tasted. The Aravis is the land of farm Reblochon, which has been produced since the 13th century in its pastures.
