Information on the ski resort

In a natural setting at the edge of National Park of Vanoise and Ecrins, Valmeinier consists of two ski resorts: Village Resort Valmeinier 1500 and the mountain resort Valmeinier 1800 . Valmeinier 1500 looks like an old Alpine village reflecting the Savoyard spirit with its houses with tiled roofs and stone walls. While Valmeinier 1800, more modern, urban mastered with quality accommodation located along the slopes. Free shuttle buses connect the two resorts together.

This village resort with two faces gives you access to a wild and preserved area and offers a breathtaking panorama on the valley and the surrounding mountains. Valmeinier shares the Galibier-Thabor ski area with Valloire. Both have a total of 150 km slopes for all levels on four sides and equipped with high speed lifts. Resulting from the encounter between the Southern Alps sun and the Northern Alps snow, snow level is guaranteed from December to April.
