Backed by the Bec de l'Aigle and Cape Canaille, La Ciotat is hidden deep in its beautiful bay, in front of Green Island. On the way to Ridge Road, La Ciotat is surrounded on one side by the village of Cassis and its famous coves and on the other side by Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer and its famous Lecques bay. The charming town of La Ciotat has many assets, its beaches are a pleasant place to relax, the heart of the town is steeped in history and its natural setting offers many recreational opportunities.


The natural environment of La Ciotat is exceptional. The city has more than 6 km of sandy beaches : the beach of the Capuchins, the Lumiere Beach, the Grande Plage... and the two impressive creeks of Mugel and Figuerolles. Mugel Park is a botanical garden where live many species of plants. It offers an exceptional view over the bay and the Eagle Cap.
