The coast, meanwhile, is and will remain etched in the memory of "aficionados" of marine pleasure and of children.
Indeed, coves and bays offer, under the summer sun, beaches of fine white sand to build ephemeral castles.
Lighthouse from Port Manec'h to "Tahiti"
And that would be Britain without its lighthouses, immortalized by many artists?
The Port Manec'h lighthouse elances its white silhouette, accented with red vermillion, to the sky.
Ideally situated at the estuary of the 2 rivers, it is the rallying point for the start of a nice trail that takes hikers along the cliffs overlooking the ocean with their steep vertiginous, to the Raguénez beach, nicknamed "Tahiti " by locals because of its turquoise waters and white sand beaches.
The view over the Glénans Archipelago, off coast, is breathtaking.
