Description

Montmartre 75014 Paris Timetable: Opens everyday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Opens from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. during holidays Located at the borders of the main boulevards of Paris, this museum immortalises celebrities of our world and history� The creation of the Mus�e Grevin calls us back to 1882, when a journalist �Alfred Meyer- and the drawer and caricaturist Alfred Grevin invented the 3D concept. They started to exhibit static celebrities� models made of wax, which, nevertheless, give an impressive impression of being true. 450 persons from various horizons like politics, history, art, or sport are now reproduced in a fabulous setting including gold marble and columns. Beside the creation of these wax models, historical frescos complete the setting, involving great historical work.
