There are many reasons to visit Paris. Culture and art are the two main reasons to come and discover the city. The Louvre museum is certainly the most famous museum but we should not forget the Orsay museum, the Georges Pompidou cultural center, the Grevin museum, the City of Science and Industry and many more.


People also come to Paris for the soul of this ancient city. Walking through its streets, the visitor has the impression of traveling through time so Paris has kept its old appearance. The monuments are so numerous in Paris that visitors often leave with the feeling of not having had time to see everything. Moreover, the fact that Paris was developed uniformly, important sights, such as the Eiffel Tower, the Grande Arche de la Defense, Notre-Dame de Paris cathedral, the Arc de Triomphe, the Bastille Opera, the Moulin Rouge cabaret and the Sacre-Coeur basilica are all in different arrondissements.

The best ways to discover the "City of Lights" are simply to walk or bike with a Vélib' (self-service bicycles) because they are the only way to discover the hidden treasures of the city. At a street corner there is a beautiful hotel, a nice square or a nice garden...

The bateaux-mouches (riverboats) offer the opportunity to discover Paris from a different angle. By being guided by the waters of the Seine, we discover the most beautiful monuments, bridges and quays of the Seine.


Paris is also known for its cultural events and many animations such as Music Festival, Paris Plage , the Museum Nights and Nuit Blanche.
